The event was a solution to a problem that we noticed a lot among first year students. The event is organized 100% by first-year students.
The collaborative initiative was an original idea from the IT LEGACY student community. IT LEGACY is a student community of IT undergraduates from University of Colombo, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University of Moratuwa. Therefore the organizing committee was made up from 3 different universities, fostering collaboration among universities.

After the event many reached out to the organizers for more information about their career and specially for more courses to follow & to self study. Our conclusion is that this is a MUST do program for all the first year IT students.
